Walk Along Lake Chipican

Yeah yeah yeah, I know, I am suppose to be out west, going for walks there. That road trip ended up being a disaster, pretty much as soon as we reached Edmonton, the wife got fed up with it there and we had to turn around and go back east bound with no money to our names, we made it back safely surprisingly. And at least I reached one of my goals by walking thru the West Edmonton Mall

So I find myself back in the city of Sarnia once again, so I went to the village of Point Edward, which is pretty much Sarnia, the weather is getting warmer, so I decided to take a hike, all around Lake Chipican. II got to hear the marsh wetland symphony, which is a combo of birds, insects and amphibians, which is a great sign that spring might actually be finally here. It didn't seem like it when I was out west, a lot of the days it went down to like minus 16 degrees, ahhh.
In and around this Lake, you can often find great blue herons, the blandings turtle, dragonflys, , fox snake, egrets, leopard frogs, male maillards and hummingbird moths. I didn't see any of those animals, but I did see lots of Canadian geese and a few cardinals, but when I got close enough to the cardinals to take a photo of them they flew away.
