Gastonia Honey Hunters new Mascot - Bam!

About a month to go in the season and Gastonia finally reveals the name of their Mascot. Kind of like how High Point did when they were choosing the name for their mascot it started with 500 submissions where the top 5 were voted on. On September 3rd they announced the winning name of the new mascot. BAM

In Honey Hunters Country, he’s known for blasting the ball past the outfield wall with ease. Always one to liven up the party and get the fans going, Bam is known to run the bases for hours on end – playing pickle with his teammates, taking in a friendly game of freeze tag, or just keeping his senses (and claws) sharp if he should ever have to protect his territory from invasive species.

Bam can be seen in future games and may make appearances in other games? We may seem him in High Point hanging out with Hype? Be interesting to see a rival mascot but it will be fun to see them two have fun during the games. It's good to see that they finally have a mascot.
