Lexington Legends vs High Point Rockers - August 18th Highlights

The rockers took on the legends for game 2 on this hot Wednesday afternoon. I went to the game hoping to stay in the cool area but it was taken by a group so i ended up standing in a spot with no chairs to really sit in! I managed to stay for 7 innings and left. I watched the rest on youtube. As for the game itself the score was 1 - 4 Rockers at the 7th

Giovani with an RBI in the 2nd inning. Michael Choice of the Legends gets an RBI in the top of the 4th. Bottom of the 6th Michael Marinez makes his first homerun! Steward Levy and Giovani both with an RBI.

In the top of the 8th Keon Barnum get a 2 run homer and Jake Romanski with an RBI making the game tied 4 - 4

Bottom of the 9th Johnny Fields with a 2 -2 pitch hits the ball to left field. Giovani scores allow the rockers to win this one 4 -5!

Thursday is game 3 at home and then 3 more games in lexington. The rockers have this series for home but they need to win all 6 to make sure they lock in the chance to go into the playoffs.
