What is this Silvertop?😮
No guys, this isn’t someone vandalizing the parking lot, or a strange variation of crop circles LOL!🤣
Those of you that live in snow country, already know what this is........
This is sprayed on liquid deicing liquid.
Nor’easter‘s in addition to bitter cold high wind tend to glaze up the roads with clear ice, black ice they call it up here!😳
Now add a foggy morning on top of this, and you have a disaster on the roads!
With Valentine’s Day coming up Silvertop needed to run to town!🥰
I stopped along the was to pick up some pallets for fire starting.
I had my truck door slam into me, and one pallet almost blew out of my hands!😳
The wind is bad in the foothills of the Mountains, but extremely dangerous in the flatlands!🥶
It looks like a beautiful sunny day in the photo’s, but this weather is dangerous!
I took a short hike up to our trailhead when I got home, and I ran into my neighbor Jerry.
He is a retired dairy farmer, and his children run his business for him now.
He told me he recorded 50 mph winds at his dairy!😮
He said his Grandfather always told him nor’easter‘s come in threes.....
Well ....we have had three day, I think it’s time for the wind to stop Lol!🤣
