Dead End……Nope, Just another Rainy Northwest Day!😅
After Church today I thought the weather was clearing out a bit……..
We headed out the door to meet up with Jan for today’s hike!

Yesterday was so nice and Sunny, it certainly changed quickly!
Sometimes when it’s nasty out, I will get my steps at the store. As a teenager we called these people “Mall Walker’s” Lol😇
How things change, I have become one of “those” people Lol!🤣

Not today……we started uphill!
Raincoats ……Check!
Umbrella……..Check!
You can see Sumas Mountain in the second photo, just look at the Mountain circled with clouds!
The corn field in the foreground is certainly enjoying this rain, it is coming up quickly!
We were not the only ones getting soaked, David is clearing for his tiny house today, he looked soaked!
I don’t think the bonfire he was burning was helping him stay dry!
We hiked through deep forest, and by the time we decide to turn around all three of us were wet!
Silvertop was soaked from the waist down.

Some of the hiking trails up ahead cross old R/R trestles, and it really is a dead end up ahead!😳
