Liz had an idea, combine a shopping day, with a trip to Boulevard Park and the Bay!🤗
Hiking in the Mountains has been so hot, we thought it would be a fun day, and a way to stay cool!
First things first, Boulevard Park!
The second photo, is overlooking the beginning of the hiking trail.
Years ago at this spot the trail dropped straight down from here, enclosed inside a railroad timber staircase. This shook when you descended, and you were “caged” inside for safety. It reminded me of a wooden roller coaster!😳
Living where we live, Silvertop always prepares for rain and cooler weather……

We arrived early in the morning, and a cold stiff breeze was blowing!
“Silvertop hold onto you hat, or it will be gone forever!”😮
Today’s hike was at low tide, in fact this was the lowest tide I have seen in a while.
Very few people were at the Bay today, the cooler weather probably deterred many. Soon it was time to switch gears and go shopping.
A nice time, and another adventure with Liz!🥰
