It really depends on what side of the Cascade Mountain range you are hiking!😊
Silvertop’s Western side is a lush green rainforest. This Tree Frog was accompanying me on today’s hike, this is his natural habitat.
Across the crest of the Mountains Phoenix was accompanied by her human!☺️
“Phoenix don’t let that human get too close to the edge of that rock outcropping, you know they aren’t as sure footed as you Lol!”🤣
Beautiful country, on both sides of the Mountains!😊
Our youngest son is getting his @actifit steps exploring the Mountains near Rosalyn Washington. If you remember the TV sitcom Northern Exposure, it was filmed in the tiny Coal mining town of Rosalyn …………..they renamed it for the TV show Cicely Alaska.

We passed the neighbors from the tiny house as we descended from today’s hike. The Mom with a backpack holding one young child, and the second enjoying the hike! Starting them early…………
They will remember these Mountains years from now!
