Standing Tall!😊
I pass between these two Douglas Fir trees on my hike everyday. I had a formula a while back that would give a close estimate of how old a tree was.🤔
I don’t have that calculation handy, but judging by the majestic height on these two trees, I am sure they are much older than Silvertop!😇
With the passing Seasonal changes, and the many passing hikers, these two sentinels stand tall!😊
Today it looked like the Season’s were caught between a gray blustery Winter day in the second photo, and a Sunny day at the pond in the next photo!😎

A very unsettled day………..
I was on a solo hike, and when I returned home I started a nice warm wood stove fire!☺️
Today was a workday for Liz, and shortly afterwards I saw headlights pulling in the driveway.
“Silvertop I need a Mocha, then will you be ready for a flashlight hike?”
Of course honey, I’m always ready for a hike!🥰

Man the environment in your pictures is so neat and clean. My eyes are not used to this much cleanliness cause here in landy areas in Punjab we can not see clean environment.
Environment in hilly areas in Pakistan is just like yours, neat and clean. But too much pollution in landy areas. You can never believe here, still, a lot of people gather plastic bags laying here and there and burn them. Evenmore, sometimes I tried to stop them saying that will make the weather even more worse but they take that negatively and start to argue how can this plastic burning turn the weather worse? Ozone details appear like fairy tales to them.
I can never think of any solution to this BURNING PLASTIC BAGS ISSUE. One more thing traffic constables do not capture vehicles emitting smoke out of them.
There are a lot of things to be changed in our area. But can not figure out how that change can be brought. Here every single person is like a KING. If you try to tell him that this act is bad or hurting others or environment. They take that personally and try to even start fight in response.
Let's hope for best though deep down in my heart I am disappointed about the fate of our country. May be some day something good might happen. Or may be some day, I would find some solution, who knows.
Still I got nice soothing feelings watching your pictures.
