My Actifit Report Card: December 19 2021

It has been an odd weather year! This Summer we had what the meteorologist called a “Heat Dome”, and Temperature’s hit 108 degrees Fahrenheit …..for days!😅
Flooding in severity a Month ago that hasn’t ever happened before!
This morning at Church, I was listening to our Pastors sermon and thinking that boats were floating just outside the window he was preaching his sermon from today, rescuing people stranded by the fast moving, cold flood waters !😮
Our Church became a boat dock!
Yes a strange year 2021 has been……..
So today’s sunny day was most welcome!
Jan our friend joined us today, it has been a while. We passed Adam collecting logs for his lumber mill. He emptied his trailer and was headed downhill for more logs, as the three of us were headed uphill!😊
The pond is slushy, the snow is hanging around in spots, and completely melted in the sunny areas like Tim’s cabin in the photo.
The view up top was crystal clear, Liz has remarked that on days that she goes shopping I could probably see her driving home on the highway far below in the valley!☺️
Cars look like tiny specks from the High Trail, the highway is busy once again, the floodwaters have receded.
Life in the valley is starting to be rebuilt, and Christmas is almost here!
