People have celebrated the shortest day of the year lighting a traditional bonfire for thousands of years!
Cot is celebrating today a bit different!😻
Freezing rain was just starting as Silvertop and Liz met up with Jan for today’s hike!
Today was more than hiking, it was wrapping and delivering Christmas presents.
Silvertop needs to give credit where credit is deserved……. this is all Liz!☺️
You can see in the third photo the Mrs carrying a present she is delivering to one of the neighbors.
Silvertop is very blessed with this Lady!🥰
Presents delivered………onward we hiked!
It was starting to ice up the road, they call it “black ice” up in the Northwest!
The Ladies saw Silvertop slip once……..😇
Then I heard…….. “I think that’s it for me Silvertop it’s icy!!!”
Hmmm………..
The Girls headed back home, I knew Liz needed Silvertop gone for a while…………guys you don’t ask questions at Christmas!😇
So I continued up the now icy steep Mountain trail.
The Mrs said “Text BEFORE you come home Silvertop!”😊
I was coming back down, just passing the pond, dripping wet, when I got the call……..
“Silvertop where are you, you can come home now!”☺️
Cot, you better move over, I’m going to join you by that fire!🤣
