Yep it was that kind of day….🤣
Cot “ the baby Mountain Lion’s” fur gets so hot to the touch, you would think he would spontaneously combust!😳
Oh to be a Cat Lol!😻…………
Silvertop had much more yard cleanup planned for today…….before I hiked!😇
The sky kept leaking………😅
I have always said “ work with the weather”, and then you reach that point when you know you need to push through!
Soon the grass will start growing, and Silvertop needed to keep clearing the fallen tree branches from the yard.
Raincoat and hood on, I started working outside in a downpour…….😲
I could see Cot watching me through the patio door, I’m sure he was trying to figure out why Dad was outside getting wet Lol!🤣
Several hours of this, and my motivation had left me……….
I need to dry off, and a coffee would be so nice right about now!
Silvertop I think you earned a hike!😇
It was late in the afternoon, so I thought I would take my normal shortcut over to Westergreens ridge top, where they timber harvested.
Uh….oh…..it looks like the trail is flooded!
I started to cut through deep forest to the left of this marshy spot, following another ridge.
Hmmm……I think I am above that cave I found a few weeks ago!😲😼
I stood there in the rain for a few minutes thinking…..
I think that was a good hike for today, I’m goin to join Cot by the fire Lol!😇
