WINTER SOLSTICE AT LAST!😀................. Actifit Report Card: December 21 2022

Winter solstice at last!🤗
Starting tomorrow the days will gradually get longer!😊
Is it summertime yet!😎
Sunset at 4:14 PM today, and they are calling for a low of 8 degrees above zero again tonight……….😳
“Liz stop that snowplow truck, and tell him to come plow our road!”
I was talking to my friend in the tiny house today, and he was saying………..
“Silvertop my Dad said the weather patterns in the Pacific Northwest go like this”………….
“Heavy snow, followed by a deep temperature drop, then freezing rain, followed by flooding in the valley!”😲
My friend you forgot to mention the bitter cold nor’easter wind during the deep freeze!🥶
That’s where we were at today………
A cold wind was blowing……
Liz stayed home from work…….
Our road is still unplowed, and it is too dangerous to drive down some of the steep hills!
By late afternoon Silvertop bundled up, and walked down the road to see if we could get the Mrs car out.
“It’s getting packed down Liz, I think we need to try driving to town, and evaluate how the roads are before you try to drive to work tomorrow morning!😇
Driving downhill isn’t the problem, it’s getting back home!😮
Our old logging road is a side road off a larger flatter Mountain pass road. You need to get your speed up, make a hard right turn IN DEEP SNOW, then accelerate uphill quickly!😬
The extremely aggressive deep lug studded snow tires on Liz’s 4WD car dug in, pulling her car first to the right, then to the left!😲
“Liz give it some gas!”😬
We plowed onward up the steep hill, past one neighbors house, then another……..
Finally slowing down in front of our driveway ……….
“Silvertop the car did very well, it’s good to be home!”
You drove very well Liz!🥰
