Ahhh……… the weekend is here!🤗
Today’s trek took Silvertop to the “ Other side of the Mountain “!☺️
Most of the snow has already melted from the heavy rains.
This side of Sumas Mountain, is much colder, and less humid. It reminds Silvertop of the Mountains in Colorado!😊
It takes several miles of hiking just to reach the crest of this ridge top.
Hiking to the bottom will take an additional hour and a half each way!😅
This trail drops steeply down this mountainside, following numerous switchbacks to the valley floor.
Later today, Silvertop is helping his neighbor at the tiny house with some electrical wiring…………
He is getting ready to electrically hook up his household water supply.
I’m sure he is excited to finally have pressurized hot water!😊
Hiking to the bottom of this valley will need to wait for another day.😇
I checked my watch……………
It was time to head back………
David is expecting Silvertop at 3:30 PM
That’s OK, the Mountains will be here……………
