With the rain coming down,Liz and I abandoned ship, and jumped into her car, and headed to Home Depot, and points unknown!😇
We are assuming tomorrow will be blue skies and sunshine, so Silvertop needed one more gallon of outdoor paint!😎
I am on a Springtime home improvement mission!😇
The fourth photo is usually a very shallow “Wetland”, but this time of year it’s a full on lake!
Everything is turning a brilliant shade of green!
I was shocked to see this sign at Home Depot advertising wages to draw in employees!
$17.50 to $20.50 per hour!
This shows you just how bad inflation is, and how desperate employers are looking for employees!😳

I remember when I was working as a “ Highly skilled journeyman Graphic arts technician “. I was the sole income for a family of five, and making $18.30 per hour, and we were living very well!☺️

I remember feeding a family of 4 on $40 a week (before our youngest was born) because that was all we could afford for groceries at the time. It didn't buy much then!
