Next week is looking like a “possible” road trip to see our youngest son and his wife, and of course Phoenix our Granddog……..😍

Both Liz and I love to spoil Phoenix when we visit!😇
“Liz, did you grab some Frozen Pizzas, Phoenix LOVES pepperoni, Pizza Lol!”🤣
Silvertop started stacking twice as much firewood per day than I normally would, in anticipation!😅
After nine full wheelbarrows loads, I called it for today, I was beat!🥵
“PEPE, my wood Mountain is definitely going down, progress my green friend!”
I am guessing that I will end up with about seven cords from this $500 load of logs!💪
Nice!!!!!🤗
This project started on May 5, and with a little luck, I will be “Year Tagging”, and tarping these three stacks by September!😊
“No rain Silbertop, we burning daylight…..we hike NOW !”🐸
I grabbed my backpack, PEPE grabbed his, and we were off to Soaring Eagles trailhead!
By the time we reached the “Switchback” in the fourth photo, the air became noticeably drier!
The Northeastern side of Sumas Mountain, gets a less humid, and much cooler breeze that comes down from Canada!😊
“It feels so much more comfortable over on this side PEPE!”☺️
“We stay over here Silbertop, you call Girls tell them we moving to Soaring Eagles!”🐸
“Hmmm….. it is nice on this side of the Mountain, well at least until Winter comes PEPE!”🙄
“We head back, I tell Liz to turn on A/C, make air cooler at home!”🐸
“No worries my green friend, I’m sure Liz already has the air conditioning on Lol!”😇😍
