Sunday certainly came around quickly my friends!😇
This morning at Church our Pastor asked…….
“Who do you call in an emergency?”🤔
I think he must have been reading Silvertops post yesterday, where I climbed and stood on the outside of a bridge, so Liz could take a photo of me Lol!😳😇
Sunday is the day the Mrs and I get to explore the logging roads at the top of our road!😊
We don’t want to bother the loggers during the week, they are busy!
Especially when they have an intense fire burning, in a wind and rainstorm, almost on the verge of being out of control !😳

Silvertop was focused on the “Big Boy Toys” today Lol!😇
The fifth and sixth photo show the large crane, and the hydraulically controlled clamshell jaws at the end of the boom meant to pick up burning logs!
I watched at a distance, a few days ago, as this crane picked up logs the size of telephone poles, and place them in a fire with flames as high as a barn!😬
I honestly don’t know how the rubber hydraulic lines don’t catch on fire!😳
Does anyone know if hydraulic fluid burns?😬
Small flames and smoke still burned from the ground as we explored the site this afternoon!
“Silvertop I’m not going anywhere near the fire, it’s still burning underground!”🙄🥰
Silvertop climbed the road just above the burn area…………..

Years ago when we lived in Cincinnati, a small dump for household items was just outside of the city.
For $5 a pickup truck load you could dispose of almost anything!
Several years later, they discovered that the pressure of the composting waste, started underground fires!😳
Erie looking smoke would seep out of the ground, as you backed your truck up to empty your household waste!
The entire dump was burning below us!😬
That’s what was happening today at the scrap burn site…… it was burning the roots underground!🙄
Thank goodness they have emergency water and equipment on hand….. just in case!😇
