Today Silvertop needed to get the latest price per foot of 1x6 tongue and groove Spruce, and Liz needed to run to town for some last minute Thanksgiving shopping!🥰
I asked GROK “AI” what time Sunset was today?
“Silvertop, you have a total of 8 hours and 45 minutes of daylight today, you and Liz better hurry if you guys are driving to town!”🙄
After finishing my everyday chores this morning, it was pushing close to Noon!😮
“Liz Sunset is at 4:20 PM and “last light” today is 4:54, we better run!”😅
“Liz….. check this out, Home Depot now has a Digital Wallet called HD Pass, I wonder if they take Bitcoin Lol?”😇

With the Winter Solstice just around the corner on December 21, Silvertop is gathering materials for indoor home remodeling!
I am installing 1x6 tongue and groove Spruce in the Mrs laundry room!😊
One more room to renovate before I start working on recessed lighting cans in Liz’s kitchen!😍
You can see the “Cabin look” we are creating in a couple of today’s photos!☺️
I believe I paid somewhere around 59 cents a foot for the tongue and groove you see in the photos, today it runs $1.03 per linear foot!

I recently read that 50% of home prices are down, and lumber is always cheaper during the Winter!
It’s a good time to stockpile tongue and groove Spruce!😇
“Liz maybe it’s also a good time to stockpile a few more Sat’s for our Granddaughter Olivia’s future as well!🥰
I can only hope that someday baby Olivia will walk up to her dad and say…………..
