Philosophical Shit, I guess...?

For the first time in nearly a month I am out of ideas on what to write. I have made it a "mission" of sorts to write everyday, to show up even when I don't feel like it. And that has actually worked wonders. 5 out of my top 7 payout posts were written on days that I actually didn't feel like writing anything - I kinda forced myself to on those days. I was either too exhausted from the entire day's activities, or I just felt like my brain needed a break, or the bed seemed a bit extra cozy and comfortable. But on none of those days did I feel like I was out of topics.

Maybe I am starting to get fatigued from writing constantly, day in day out. Maybe I really am running fast through the topics stored somewhere deep inside my brain and I am burning low.

The brightest flame burns quickest, is what I heard her say - Mama Said, Metallica

I don't know why I quoted the line above, but this very line just popped in my head as I was writing and last I heard this song was probably 6-7 years back. So I guess it's fitting it gets a mention, it has somewhat the gist of what I was trying to get at. Maybe I was burning too much for what I could afford.

Not everyone is a born writer, and writing everyday has increased my respect for the authors I see writing some real good posts daily here on hive. There was a time I used to envy them, thinking it was such easy money for the authors and I wanted to emulate what they do - write daily. When I myself embarked on this journey, I started to truly understand what it takes to stay that diligent, that consistent. Believe you me it is anything but easy! If anything, I have grown to respect them for what they have achieved - consistency and discipline of the highest order!

When I started writing this post I said I was feeling out of ideas. And I had a theory why I was feeling void. But I guess I have strayed far from where I was headed. Taking hold of the reigns of this post, let's get back to where I was originally planning to head.

30 minutes now - The do or die game for Argentina. Now that I say it, it doesn't really seem very dramatic as an Argentina fan. We had to endure such Do or die matches for Argentina last world cup too. The roads outside my house are already buzzing with people gathered to watch the match into the depths of the night - the game ends at around 3 am here.

And I too am starting to feel the nerve. The passion is alive and burning once more.

One of the things that’s helped me stay consistent with writing at least once a day is to have themes for some of the posts. I do a theme for Monday Tuesday and Wednesday every week so that helps drive what I’ll be writing about.

I’ll be honest though I’ve gotten a little writing fatigue myself of late! I’m hopeful that I can get back into the swing of things soon but I used to have 4-5 posts scheduled into the future now I’m lucky if I’ve got 2 these days lol it’s annoying but we all go through the ruts!

Having themes is a fantastic idea. Unfortunately I don’t do too well when I am bound by a specific topic to write on. Sometimes it works really well for me, but in general I'm more of a "let's start and see where the words take us" kinda writer 😆

I’ve gotten a little writing fatigue myself

I have felt that too recently. And I have started using the schedule feature more often now. On days I feel the "writing juices" are flowing, and I have some free time, I draft up multiple posts and schedule them to cover me up for the next couple of days.
