İnsanı diğer canlılardan farklı kılan akıl ve iradedir. Yaşamak için bütün yolları dener ve mutlaka bir yol bulur. Bu yüzden insan çaresizliğinde daha yaratıcı ve üretken olur. Rahat ve güvencede ise yaratıcılığını yitirir ve sıradanlaşır. Zor, hatta imkansız uzak ideallerinin varlığı onu diri tutar. Çünkü akıl, emek, acı insanı var olma nedenine, kendine odaklanmasını sağlar. Kendini yeniden inşa etmeye mecbur bırakır. Olgunlaşır ve hem kendine, hem de hayata bakışını değiştirir.
Bu yüzden zor olanı seçtim, yazmayı... Okumayı, anlamayı, düşünmeyi, dünyayı daha yaşanır kılmayı. Kolay değil, biliyorum ama insan başlarsa muhakkak yeni yollar bulur.
İnsan çaresizliğinde insandır.
Kader kavramı insan iradesinden başka bir şey değildir.
