Christmas came late...

First post of the year so HAPPY NEW YEAR fam!

It's a tradition worldwide to make gifts to the persons you care about in Christmas holidays so after taking care of my loved ones I decided to also do a present to myself, worked hard this year and totally deserved it hehe!

I's super-easy and fun to do gifts to yourself, you know exactly what you need, and when we're talking about skaters it's even easier, the right gift is a skate gift! Navigated to my favourite skateshop website, loaded my cart with all sorts of goodies, paid and eagerly awaited for my parcel!

Was anticipating to get my hands on my order before New Years Eve but I was unlucky! Seems like courier services have so much work these days they kinda blocked, or at least that was the case in the city I live at! Finally got hold of my parcel yesterday (1/6/2024) after back and forth calls but hey, better late than ever though, right?

Got a bunch of items I needed such as boards, trucks, bearings, skate wax etc. and guys from the skateshop even threw in the latest "Irregular Skate Mag" issue as a gift! Dope!

Record made of the launch of my great friend Nava's documentary, it took two days of recording as the rain was present on the first day, and as a result few people went, and even because the equipment was exposed to the rain.

Hello friends. Very busy days around here. I confess that I feel a kind of FOMO or withdrawal on the days I can't blog. It's very hot in Rio, my son has been very agitated. I haven't blogged for 2 or 3 days and I've only been able to sit at the computer now on the 11th at midnight, when he fell asleep lol.

LAYING BACK ON A TOY MACHINE GRAFFITI RAMP

I hit a down hill as my breakfast. After a face wash, it was basically the first thing I did this past January 1st, since my homies were going to see me at the corner of the hill to visit Lagos de Moreno, where a sick new skatepark is at. I'm sure later on you will see this new skatepark in blogs of the Mexican crew that's chilling here in Hive. For now I leave you a fun line that I did to warm up my body at the old skate park of the city, park that we only visited a few minutes. Despite being old, is very fun and is full of graffiti everywhere, this fill it with color, giving it an underground touch to the scene.

Hello and welcome to the new episode of "Two Tricks In A Row". New Year, New Trick by Chris Lawrence Velasco Jr. Last Sunday, January 07, 2024, Chris Lawrence landed two tricks in a single row the Frontside Ollie 5050 Grind and his new flat ground trick the Backside Kickflip. I've been trying the Backside Kickflip for so many years but I can land this trick once in a blue moon that trick is really tough to do. But not for Chris Lawrence he can land the Backside Flip anytime he wants.
Chris Lawrence lands the FS Ollie 5050 Grind on his first run but he failed to land the Backside Kickflip.
