Skatehype.com news, fixes and improvements [14 jun 2022]

NEWS

• New cash for tricks monthly contest and section in main page
• You can now set your vote weight from control panel
• Markdown is fully supported in publication descriptions
• "Download a trick" now is "Post to plaza" with a renewed interface and buttons.
• WARNING! When you update your profile picture in skatehype.com, your hive account (if connected) will update: profile_image, name and website. And will clear any other parameter in your hive profile.
• User profile icon displays at the top right as a drop-down menu when user is logged in.

New anti spam measures

• The sections in main page photos, video parts, short length and Feature films shows only last post of user ordered by date instead of all ordered by date.
• New content showed in Plaza showed as has published: is limited to last post of every user.
• New comments showed in Plaza only showed as commented: is limited to last user comment of every post.

Improvements

• Friendly reply comment structure
• Simplified Hive connect section
• The video resolution is displayed in the player.
• Improved help page also added skatehive discord link on contact section of help page
• When a trick of cashfortricks contest is viewed playnext shows next trick not a related video.
• Improved createHiveAccount script: checks for account successfully created, updates profile picture if exists, @hypeuser delegates 20000VEST (10 hive aprox) of hive power to new hive users created with skatehype.com script.
• Changed "has downloaded a trick" for the Plaza logo "P" when user Post in plaza.

Fixes

• Wrong aspect ratio showed in photo sequence when different aspect ratio photos were uploaded.
• Bug found in video path that selects allways low resolution file when thumbnail is created or trick is downloaded or post to plaza.
• When comment or edit playnext is active and jumps to the next video loosing edit or comment text. Now video is paused and playnext is cancelled when edit or comment is started.
• Posts with " not showing " in title anymore.
• Local fix for ------ bug in beem library. Is automatically transformed in standar markdown --- that is transformed in an horizontal line when is posted to peadk.
• Setted lowercase for email and username inputs.
• Create hive account not working due to invalid characters or capital leters, now checks for 0-9a-z. in hive user name.
• Removed emojis in title and slug. Updated remove_emoji function.
• Starting video at seek point fail when slow bandwith
• 9:16 option showed for post to plaza when video is already 9:16.
• Personal messages date were showed incorrectly.
• Other minor fixes.
