Barcelona on its way to conquer La Liga

There are still a lot of games left, yesterday Sunday Barcelona faced Sevilla, in my opinion yesterday's game was not difficult for Barcelona, the game against Betis was much more competitive but it is clear that Sevilla they faced It did not have the same football quality as Betis, currently they are in the 16th position in the league with only 21 points while Real Betis is sixth with 31 points.

The game in the first half was quite dominated by Barcelona, however in the first half there was still a game where the ball went up and down the field, the game was fairly clean without many fouls or problems between the players. Unfortunately, Busquets was injured in the fourth minute on his left ankle after being stepped on, it seemed to me a more unintentional incident, with things that happen in soccer.

On this occasion, the Barça players who shone were others, I see that some are not very happy that Lewandowski didnt score, I imagine they have this discontent since he is currently the main figure of Barcelona, but I think that this is already favoritism, but it is not what I want to see from the team. I really like to see other players shine, last night Jordi Alba at minute 57 after a brilliant pass from Kessie score, this assist by Kessie was very similar to other great players like Iniesta, his first goal this season in La Liga for Jordi Alba.

From this moment on, the game took a different rhythm and that is when Barcelona accelerated fully, apart from the fact that Sevilla did not go up the field many times but it was also due to Barcelona's dominance in the midfield, that constant touch which eventually makes for the opposing team to get into that constant game of turning around the midfield, sometimes with more than 20 touches of the ball before actually making some kind of move on the wings.

In this match again we see Raphinha very active giving everything on the field, he was part of Jordi Alba's goal and then at minute 69 he filters a ball that would be defined by Gavi, this young promise of Barcelona, possibly the most dominant match up to now of Barcelona after that Super Cup final against Real Madrid. Barcelona continues to grow this year even when many doubted the team's potential, no one is a fortune teller to know the future but what is true is that the current manager has all the support of the club, he has players who are willing to work hard for Get the team forward, it has figures like Lewandowski, Raphinha, Dembele, experienced players and talented youngsters like Gavi, Pedri.

The second goal came by Raphinha's own hands at minute 78 with a pass to the danger area courtesy of Jordi Alba, again the figures of the night, Raphinha's goal. After the Super Cup final you could see a Barcelona that could but did not dominate, in these last two games I liked it much more, it is a team that dominated the midfield and in turn it is difficult to score against them.

My opinion is different from that of many regarding Lewandowski for this match, every player and team has a ceiling that at some point short seasons come in which they do not develop in the same way, for me the best thing is to see a complete team, a more developed team that you can have on the court of three to five players who are all capable of scoring and assisting. Currently this is what is happening with Barcelona even with players who come from the bench as well as Fati and Kessie.

As for the future of Barcelona in La Liga, I see it as very promising, but I think that it is still too early to say that they are going to win it, it could be said that they have almost half the job done, with an eight point lead again over Real Madrid, winning two games in a dominant way and their fifth consecutive victory in La Liga while the second team Real Madrid in their last games have had a hard time scoring if not winning, with this rhythm and advantage that Barcelona has the rest of La Liga or to be more direct, Real Madrid no longer depends only on winning or losing games but on what Barcelona does, Barcelona's next game is against Villa Real next Sunday, February 12, I hope this will be a more difficult game for Barcelona maybe something like what was seen against Betis, if they win against Villarreal they would reach 11 points above.

PS: Had to edit, couldn't leave the post with that ugly stock image on top, I'm still working on getting post ready for the next day, who thought showing up everyday would be this hard.

Barcelona would have gotten five goals in that game if Lewandoski had scored most of his chances, the team has bonded well, you can tell from the second goal Gavi knew exactly where Raphinha would play the ball and made no mistake in playing it into the goal post. Yes they are eight points clear and the path to victory is clear but like Xavi said he will not let his guard down and he is already thinking about the Villareal game. Barcelona will win the title I am 100% sure about that and we will see it happen in June.
