WOO - Is The World Shifting Towards The Gamers?

Greetings to everyone on Hive and greetings to my favorite wrestling and gaming community online, WOO.

It's @skyehi and after thr encouraging and motivating words of Bookerman the founder and Visionary behind WOO, I'm really excited to be back.

I have been going through social media a lot and it seems that a lot of people are talking about the future and it seems to me that the trend is that we go fully digital.

Tech development companies are constantly working on releasing new products like goggles for Augmented reality and Virtual reality, new websites that use Web3 Technology and allows for Blockchain based solutions and Play-to-earn gaming concepts.

The current biggest social media company Meta with Mark Zuckerberg as CEO has a full vision to build the Metaverse which is essentially a newer version of the Internet itself. It's what you get when you mix the advanced speeds of our Internet with Virtual and Augmented Reality.

A lot of changes are going to happen and send the world into a fully digitalized ecosystem.

Now in a situation like this the question we would ask is which niche doing you think will dominate?

The importance of this question is to help people that are thinking about generally succeeding in the future to know where and what to invest their efforts into.

Well guys I believe I have the answer to that and the answer is the Gaming Niche.

Just think about it guys, the highest rated video at the moment is the GTA 6 trailer and one of the biggest announcements for 2024 is the "ESPORTS World Cup Summer 2024" which is a global gaming contest where gamers from around the world form teams to compete with a prize pool of over 45 million dollars(USD).

Just look at one of the biggest video streaming platform in the world YouTube, the two streamers with the most number of subscribers are PewDiePie and MrBeast, two people that happen to be in the gaming niche.

Some of the most successful channels on YouTube are gaming channels. It turns out people are really loving the games and game development companies like Rockstar and Electronic Arts are making billions and billions of dollars now.

I have never seen the world anticipate anything quite like the way people anticipate the release of GTA 6. Game trailers are getting way more views that music videos and movie trailers.

So the fact is that people's interests in gaming is really growing and now that we have P2E games rising, the future will certainly have people making decent incomes by playing games and getting good at it.

So I'm starting to think that the most successful thing you may do in the future might be gaming.

There was a time where being a doctor or a lawyer or an engineer was the most successful thing and then we entered an era where social media influencers where earning more than Doctors that spend years in school learning how to save lives.

Now we've reached a point where the gamers will dominate the work space. As P2E games become a more popular trend, we would see more people probably quit their jobs and do well in these games to earn a living.

If people can quit their jobs to go trade Bitcoins or other crypto tokens to earn a decent income and even become millionaires, why can't gamers do the same.

As a matter of fact, this concept is already happening. There are people leaving in third world countries where the value of their currency is way lower than the US dollar living and fully depending on their incomes from Hive and Hive based games like Splinterlands.

Since the value of their currency is quite low, the earnings from Hive Based games are quite substantial for them and they can literally live off of that income alone.

Now that more games like Wrestling Organization Online has finally been released we'll soon have those people earning great and decent incomes enough to live off of it.

This would certainly create a world that I called my dream world. Where you could earn a living off of playing games online.

It's not just the earnings from completing missions or winning a match but thanks to Blockchain integration, Smart Contracts and NFTs(Non-fungible Tokens) the in-games assets have real life value.

We could earn from completing missions and also own assets in a game which would have real life value just like how people own Houses and properties that have real life value.

So indeed guys, it seems the world which was once in favor of the most brilliant students in class and then shifted to the most popular on social media is now shifting to the best gamers and strategists.

Who knew that this would be our future?

Just think about this; when the Metaverse gets improved, communication will improve but the vast application of Metaverse technology will certainly be in the gaming niche.

If we have Augmented and Virtual Reality, although talking to your friends will become cooler, it's the games that will get the real upgrades.

Imagine playing Call of Duty or Wrestling Organization Online and you feel you're in the game itself. Wouldn't that be awesome and fun. All of that plus you're earning from the P2E system.

The future really does have gamers written all over it. I wonder if you've ever watched the movie "Player one" before. It shows a perfect image of the world in the future with Augmented Reality and Virtual reality with Metaverse technology.

So my little advice to you is to get onboard. If you're not a gamer, that's fine but consider investing into the P2E games and learn a lot about it because it's certainly the future.

Yes we'll still have doctors getting successful in the future and social media will still dominate but I personally believe on top of all that, the gamers will thrive.
