Taking A Passenger To University (My Actifit Report Card: December 11 2023)
Monday was quite busy. The border between the city I live in and the provincial city center becomes very busy in the morning around 7 am to 8 am.
Due to fear of being hit by traffic jams, apassenger in my city contacted me. She wants to take a job test held at USU (University Sumatera Utara) a.k.a University of North Sumatra.
She said she would leave at 6 am in the morning. So I picked her up at exactly 6 am.
The distance from her house to USU is around 33 km. With an estimated time of 45 minutes by car. I'm glad she wasn't late and didn't get stuck in traffic for her important day.
After dropping her off at her destination, I took a morning walk around the university.
USU University has a popular park which people also use for walking and jogging in the morning and evening.
Because it's Monday, the place is quite quiet. It feels calm to me. In this park there is a fountain.
The park area has many jogging tracks. We can also see that the area around the park is quite clean.
The park is close to the university rectorate. It looked like a janitor was sweeping there.
This university area looks neatly arranged with green space. It feels quite calm here.
I think the park management regularly cleans and trims the trees. So that the trees there are not too lush and look like beautiful ornamental trees.
Apart from the fountain as the center of attention in the park, there are other things that make this park quite popular to visit. There are quite a lot of deer here.
In the afternoon, there was a carrot seller in the park, to feed the deer.
It doesn't feel like I walk enough so I don't get bored. I'm waiting for my passenger to finish taking the test and I will take him back to his house at the starting location.
I'm happy for her because she was able to do the test well and our trip was smooth without getting stuck in traffic. Even though we were a bit stuck in traffic on the way home, the most important thing was that the trip to the university went smoothly.
