Another Day In Klaten City (My Actifit Report Card: December 7 2025)

I walked more today. I intended to meet potential customers who wanted to chat with me first.

His house was close to the station, so I decided to take this inexpensive public transportation. It only cost me half a dollar for a one-way trip.

Just because it's cheap has its drawbacks. Not all passengers always get a seat. It's random. If you're lucky, you'll get a seat. But don't worry, there are priority seats for parents, babies, and sick people.

So many people wanted to take this cheap trip. I didn't get a seat, but that wasn't a problem because my journey was only a short one, less than half an hour.

Arriving at Klaten Station, I took a photo in front of the iconic, vintage-looking clock.

Right around noon, lunchtime arrived. I was picked up by a potential customer. He invited me to a restaurant, but I didn't take any photos of our meal. Out of respect for him, I felt awkward taking his picture, so I just took a photo of the place.

It was a nice place. The many trees provided shade, perfect for lunch.

Then I went to his house after lunch until the afternoon sun was about to set.

This prospective client of mine agreed to hire a driver. Next week, I'll be taking her family to a university for an event.

Before I left, I stopped at a nearby park with an artificial reservoir. It turned out to be quite busy.

There were lots of children's games, and we could even ride a mobile restaurant, or what I mean by that, a cafe on a boat that circles the reservoir.

The place was quite spacious. So I wandered around. The statues in the center of the park were an interesting sight.

The lights were on, and the statues were in various colors.

The park was quite clean. It felt comfortable to walk around. There were also many ornamental plants, including flowers, in bloom.

That evening, I didn't go straight home. I had to visit my uncle at the hospital. I was taking the budget train.

So I chose the closest stop to the hospital, getting off at Purwosari Station.

I didn't realize I'd been out all day. I didn't feel the fatigue I felt from visiting a new place. I'll tell you about my other travels another time. Thank you for reading about my activities today.
