Queridos amigos hace unos días realicé mi vídeo de verificación y en el les comenté un poco sobre mis planes con la comunidad, hable acerca de tener una serie de escritos, entrevista y vídeos sobre el motocross.

Esto es gracias a qué un primo compite en la válida nacional y quiero plasmar su recorrido en la plataforma y así poder llevar sus registros y avances en este deporte.

Hoy primero que nada quiero hablarles un poco de que es el motocross, su historia y como se desarrolla este deporte, la intención de esto es que los seguidores de este contenido se familiaricen con el tema y también sirva de cultura general para cualquier tipo de lector.

Lo primero que tenemos que saber es ¿Que es el Motocross?

El Motocross es una competencia de motos todo terreno en un circuito o pista cerrada, dónde se generan condiciones de terrenos extremas para poner a prueba las motocicletas y sus componentes así como la condición física del piloto, es un deporte que tiene mucha exigencia físicas para el piloto y mecánicas para la motocicleta.

La motocicleta está equipada con motores a Dos y Cuatro Tiempos muy potentes y con componentes que hacen sacar el mayor provecho posible cómo por ejemplo las colmenas de escape y las relaciones de piñón y corona en la transmisión; por otra parte un componente que aporta mucho valor a la motocicleta es la suspensión estas son hechas para carreras lo que su recorrido es mayor que la de una suspensión estandar y esto genera más suavidad en los obstáculos y saltos, como dato curioso un buen sistema de suspensión puede costar hasta dos y tres veces el valor de la moto.

Ahora hablemos un poco de Historia ¿Dónde y cuando se originó el Motocross?

El motocross data de principios del siglo pasado (XX) y se originó en el Reino Unido y fue hasta en 1909 cuando una carrera llamada scramble fue tomando auge y conociendose internacionalmente y adoptó el nombre de Motocross de el abreviado de motocicleta y el cross de Cross country que en español significa a campo traviesa.

El motocross se divide en categorías, está se miden por la cilindrada del motor de la moto, van desde 50cc pw hasta la categoría experto en 250cc y 450cc.

La pista o circuito posee su parrilla de salida y en el recorrido una gran cantidad de obstáculos que simulan condiciones de manejo extremas, hay saltos altos, saltos continuos, curvas abiertas, curvas de más de 180°, entre otros.

El campeonato anual por lo menos en Venezuela dura al rededor de 9 meses con tiempos prudentes entre las válidas para puesta a punto de las motocicletas y periodos de pruebas en pista, dónde se realizan ajustes de suspención, relación torque-velocidad y ayuda al piloto a prepara su estrategia de manejo para el día de la válida.

Con el auge del motocross se han derivado varias nuevas modalidades de competición con motocicletas como lo son el Supercross, que consiste en tomar la moto alcanzar la mayor velocidad posible para un salto muy alto y realizar acrobacias en el tiempo de vuelo del salto; existe otra modalidad conocida como supermotar y está se caracteriza por tomar la moto todo terrenos utilizada en el Motocross y colocarle cauchos de pista de asfalto y competir en circuitos de calle; estos dos son los más relevantes en estos días.
