My Actifit Report Card and Update: March 29 2024

Hi Everyone,

Happy Easter to all, it's Actifit Report time again. I was hoping to spend more time outside this week. Unfortunately, it's been raining pretty heavy. It's also been cold and windy. Disappointing start to Spring. I wanted to reinforce Hamlet the Happy Pig's fence, but it's been too wet and the ground is currently too difficult to work with. I also wanted to plant some new grass, but the same problem. It's easy to tell the weather has been bad this month as the grass has barely grown. I would have normally given it its first cut by now.

So my exercise has been limited to the home. So I have done less than I should have done. I have spent more time on the computer. I have had some fun with the Bing AI image creator. It is really good. I will be using it in my upcoming and possibly even my next Sapien Loop book. The two pictures in the bottom right corner of the thumbnail/first picture in the post are from the image creator. Here are two more.

I do not plan on using them in their original form. I will edit them. This might involve extracting some elements of the pictures and combining them with other AI images or even some of my own images. I will use it as a tool to enhance my content. It will compliment what I am currently doing rather replacing it.

My Content

I posted twice this week. One was the results post for my Sapien Loop Quiz and the other was about leadership and power.

The quiz had a decent turnout; 9 participants. The winner answered all 7 questions correctly. I feel confident that, at least, some people are reading the book. I'm a little disappointed that the two participants that answered all the questions correctly last month did not participate this month. Despite the success of the first two quizzes, the book is struggling to take off. Marketing is not easy.

The other post, 'Faces for the Faceless', takes a look at how the powerful run countries. It considers powerful dictators who run the country and are also the face of leadership. Outside of the West, this is how most countries are run. For the West it is different. These countries are run as representative democracies. The people choose their own leaders. These leaders are temporary as they face frequent re-election (e.g., every 4 years). The temporary and vulnerable nature of their leadership reduces their power. Supporters of representative democracy would argue the real power sits with the people. However, this is far from the truth. Read the post for an explanation of where power actually sits.
