My Actifit Report Card and Update: June 12 2025

Hi Everyone,

I’m back with another Actifit Report and Update. It has been a busy week for me both on and off the blockchain. I posted three times since my previous update. I’ve also been to the city to help my mum design her new kitchen.

Our kitchen is quite old. Some of the cabinets are in bad condition. The oven is half dead. The floor is in really poor condition. We went to a kitchen and bedroom store in the city. They have a huge variety of kitchen cabinets and layouts. It was great that they used software to fit everything perfectly into the kitchen.

A few days before we visited the store, a representative came around to measure the dimensions of the kitchen, key appliances and even positions of switches and other fittings. This made it easy to fit everything into the kitchen using the software.

After 3+ hours we had designed the full kitchen exactly how my mum wanted it. It looked great on the screen. We reserved all the items, and it should be installed at the beginning of September this year.

I am hoping for a bit of help financially from this bull run. Bitcoin is going pretty strong, which is great since I still hold some. Most other coins aren’t doing as well. My beloved Hive has yet to take off. We had a brief bounce in January, then it was back down again. I think Hive still has a chance at hitting a dollar before the end of this run. It often surges late.

I find it surprising that Tron has performed well this cycle. Its price is currently slightly higher than that of Hive’s (Oh No!). It is difficult to watch, considering what happened with Steem a few years back.

I posted the results of May’s Sapien Loop quiz. The turnout was down a little, but the quality of the responses remained high. I’m fairly happy with the following of my books on Hive. After this month’s quiz, I’ll be running the economic challenge series. The Sapien Loop quiz will return after that in September.

I completed the final part of the Sapien Loop and Our Own World series. I think this series should help my readers and future readers of the books to connect the story to the real world and the messages I’m trying to convey through fiction. In the final post in the series, I discuss the collapse of Sapey and compare the story to what is happening in our own world. It is tragic how everything is falling apart, but it is important to understand why it is happening. I believe the books shed some light on that through fictitious events. Despite the suffering, the books bring hope of a possible brighter future, which our current world is lacking.

The third post was a collection post for the six parts of the series. The post briefly outlined the series and provided short write-ups for all six posts. This will help make this series of posts easier to find once the individual posts become pushed further down the timeline. I also reblogged the post to my @captainhive account so that it sits with all the other Sapien Loop content.
