My Actifit Report Card and Update: July 28 2025
Hi Everyone,
I’m back with another Actifit Report and Update. I have been busy on Hive recently. I have started my annual Economics Challenge Series. It is off to a good start so far.
We went to the cinema again. We’ve been a few times recently. We’ve watched 28 Years Later, Jurassic World, How to Train Your Dragon, and now Fantastic Four.
Fantastic Four: First Steps was an enjoyable film. It was a step up from many of the weaker Marvel films from the past 5 years. I found it more enjoyable than the previous Fantastic Four film but not as enjoyable as the first film from around 20 years ago.
The film was set in an alternative 1960s universe where the Fantastic Four were the main and possibly the only heroes in the universe. The MCU multiverse concept has enabled their story to be told in such a way while creating the possibility of it joining the main story.
The four main characters worked well together. The chemistry between Human Torch and the Thing was good but not as edgy as the first film. The villains were okay. They lacked development, but that is often the case. There was an attempt to explain the Silver Surfer’s background and motivations. Whereas Galactus has to eat planets to satisfy his hunger.
The final showdown between the four and Galactus was exciting, but it was also a little predictable. He was defeated in a predictable manner, and a main character was thought to be dead but miraculously survived. Overall, the film is definitely worth watching. Especially if you were a fan of Fantastic Four growing up. It feels a lot like the cartoon in terms of the look, feel, and character interactions.
My Content
I have posted five challenges since my previous report and update. So far, participation has been very high. Each challenge has attracted around 15 participants, which is considerably higher than the recent Sapien Loop contests.
Of the five challenges posted so far, two challenges are still running. These two are the Auction and Ice Cream Game challenges.
The Auction challenge requires participants to bid on up to five out of twelve items. The first aim is to outbid other participants to win items, and the second aim is to bid below the value of the item. The overall winner is the participant who obtains the highest combined value from winning auctions.
The Ice Cream Game Challenge requires participants to select a location on one of three beaches. The aim is to attract as many customers as possible. This depends on the number of people visiting the beach, the length of the beach, and the proximity to other sellers. Participants do not need to price their ice creams or differentiate the ice cream from other sellers. The only thing that matters is the number of ice creams sold.
Besides my posts on the challenge series, I’m still writing the character profiles of the Sapien Loop characters. I think I’m about halfway through. I’ll post these profiles in 5 or 6 parts.
That wraps up this Actifit Report and Update. I wish everyone a great week ahead. If you have time, take a look at these challenges. They’re a great opportunity to win Hive Power and have some fun.
