My Actifit Report Card and Update: October 21 2025

Hi Everyone,

I’m back with another Actifit Report and Update. I have a pretty big week ahead. Tomorrow, the kitchen renovation begins, and at the weekend I will be at a book event promoting my Sapien Loop books.

The kitchen renovation will be huge. We are changing almost everything. New floor, different coloured walls, all new cabinets, a new bar counter and stools, and various new appliances. The refrigerator is one of the few things to remain.

It’ll take around two weeks to finish. That means two weeks of takeout meals. We’re lucky that this area has a good variety of vegan-friendly takeaway meals. It’ll be a mixture of pizzas, burgers, curries, burritos, and Thai dishes. We’ll be forced to eat in the lounge or even in a bedroom. It’s possible the cabinets might have to occupy the lounge while the new tiles set. It’s a temporary inconvenience, which will definitely be worth it.

The book event that I’m attending this weekend is called ‘Books and Boos’. It’s a Halloween event. My books are not horror, but they contain some scary moments. Experimentation on the Sapiens, the mass murder in Adoy, the execution of the enforcers, and the violent attack by the Sentray are just a few to mention from the first book alone. The second book has its moments too. The North is very grim and creepy.

My Sapien Loop books cross several genres. I would say they most closely fit into the sci-fi fantasy category. They also have economic, social, and political elements to them as well. The main reason for attending this event is to promote the books. The ebook versions will be free again. You can take advantage by ordering them as well. My Content

I have only posted once since my previous update. This was my Sapien Loop quiz. It’s been a long time since I’ve run this quiz. I ran the Economic Challenge Series in July and August, and I was too busy with the books in September.

All nine questions in this quiz have been taken from the short stories and character journeys (the new book). So not the first two books in the series. This means the participants, even the regular ones, will have a bit of reading to do if they want to answer the question correctly.

This contest is open for ten days, so there is time to read at least some of the stories. Next month’s quiz will also be focused on content from the new book. After that, I’ll be running the Christmas quiz in December.

Next month, I’ll begin writing the final book in the Sapien Loop series. I have so many ideas that I’ve been jotting down over the past nine months. It’ll be great to finally pull them together into a book. I’ll still make some time here and there to add to my economics content on this account, but it won’t be my focus until late next year.
