My Actifit Report Card and Update: January 23 2026

Hi Everyone,

I’m back with another Actifit Report and Update. As usual, I’ve been spending most of my time writing my next book. I’m past the halfway point of my first draft. I’m pretty happy with the progress. I’m roughly on track to finish the first draft in April. That gives me a few months of editing before my planned completion month of August.

I haven’t been out much other than to do routine things such as shopping. The weather has been pretty bad. It hasn’t been cold, but it has been extremely wet. Hamlet the Happy Pig’s area has turned into a swamp. She’s a pig who doesn’t like mud. Her best friend, Lily Goat, hates the mud. Some days, it’s been so bad that I’ve had to take her food up to her house.

I have only posted once since my previous Actifit Report. This was the results post for my Christmas contest. This feels incredibly late. I posted the contest three days after Christmas Day. I posted the results well into the new year. This was because I allowed ten days for participants to enter. I think the contest only had six participants; possibly the fewest participants I’ve had for a Christmas contest. To top it off, one of the winners used a Grinch strategy to win. You’ll need to read the post to understand what that means.

This year has got off to a very chaotic start. I feel compelled to take a short break from my book to discuss some of what is going on. The main disrupter being the US President Donald Trump. Key areas of excitement involve kidnapping world leaders, threatening ‘allies’ and taking countries, the Board of Peace, and threatening another war in the Middle East. It seems whacky, but there is method to the madness.
