I don't think that anyone is sore that Venezuela won, they put on one hell of a show the entire tournament. I was surprised seeing as how Venezuela had lost to the DR in group play.
I noticed several veterans in the lineup were pretty underwhelming at times,
Just a conspiracy theory that I have during these times that pros are playing for a national team: I wonder if they kind of take it easy at times since their real loyalty probably lies with their club team. I think this has a better chance of being true with pitchers.

Yeah no doubt, I'm happy for Venezuela! You might be on to something regarding your conspiracy theory. Pitchers certainly don't want to injure themselves and risk multi-generational wealth in a two-three week tournament. Good point!
