RE: I wish I could get excited about UFC's "fighting nerds"

I decided after the last PPV event that I am no longer going to attend the events. The 20 minutes between each fight, the fact that most of the fights end up being far more hype than actual delivery of excitement, and the fact that cost of this all has gone through the roof as a fan, are reasons enough for me to sit most of the fights out. I will go to one of those dodgy sites that streams the fights live and just leave it on, on the other side of the room, while I do something else. I don't like to involved piracy in things like this, but UFC has done this to me by constantly chasing more money.

I watch most PPV events on twitter for free these days and I am certain there would be UFC.

there are a lot of ways to skip all the BS marketing that they have in there. I suppose if a fight was truly something amazing that it wouldn't pain me too much to go back and watch it knowing the result already. It has been quite some time since I watched an event and really enjoyed myself. There's just too much crap between fights and the 20 minute ringwalk followed by drawn out introductions, even for lower level fighters, is just annoying.
