Blast from the past - ERC Rally di Roma Capitale 2019

Hi, friends!

I am almost sure that I wrote about this great tarmac rally based in capitol city of Italy.. And Italy is a land of motorsport.

In the years before coronavirus pandemic, there was more then 100 rallies all around the Italy in all kind of competitions.

Yes, they have seven or eight national rallies but all other rallies are regional but with top drivers who could be able to fight with international stars if they would have the budget to compete there for some time.

One of the national rallies (counted both days divided into two rallies) is Rally di Roma Capitale. This rally is also one of the rounds of European Rally Championship.

And I must admit that when I saw this rally for the first time, I was really impressed.

Also competition in ERC is getting higher and higher every year. One of the names that is constant but also always quick is Russian Alexey Lukyanuk.

But there is plenty of other names that can impress. Frankly, this is not the quality of the World Rally Championship but still it is very interesting to watch.
