Bonato won last round of European Rally Championship - shorter version of Rally Catalunya Spain 2022

It is hard to believe but the last round of European Rally Championship had only 21 entrants. It is hard to believe but it seems that the fact that the sam rally was counted for round of World Rally Championship was enough that drivers rather chose bigger version.

This event showed once more that Citroen has the right car in Rally2 class but when it's held on tarmac. Škoda is more reliable car but Citroen C3 Rally2 is faster on tarmac.

French tarmac ace Yoann Bonato proved that last weekend with the win in front of this year's ERC champion Efren Llarena and the 3rd was another Spanish driver Javier Pardo.

ERC 2022 season finishes with thi rally and it is expected that 2023 calendar will be bigger then this years because, in my opinion, eight events are not enough for the 2nd largest rally championship in the world.
