Hi, friends!

World Rally Championship season 2023 is officially over after the final special stage of WRC Rally Japan 2023 has been finished and drivers drove through the ceremonial finish ramp.

It was a great season, also for us who had four WRC starts this year and that's something I will never forget for the rest of my life. Let's hope for better next year! Thanks, HIVE! ❤️❤️❤️

Anyway, yesterday we knew that it would be a Toyota home show after Hyundai's Thierry Neuville went off and destroyed front left suspension of his Hyundai i20 Rally1. Dani Sordo went off with another Hyundai at the very first special stage of Friday and that left only Esapekka Lappi in the game for them.

Lappi lost some confidence after numerous crashes during the 2nd part of the season but he chose a safe option with slower approach but to finish the rally in points as only Hyundai driver. In the end he came home with the 4th place finish which is a descent result after everything he was put through in the recent months.

So it was all about Toyota works guys with 1-2-3 finish in their home city (Elfyn Evans - Seb Ogier - Kalle Rovanpera). Toyota home boy Takamoto Katsuta had an awful start of event after small off at the first stage on Friday but managed to ppst string of fastest stage time during the rally to finish 5th overall.

Estonian Ott Tanak did his last event with M-Sport Ford after a bad season (with two wins - Sweden and Chile) and finished 6th overall. He will be in Hyundai's colours from January.
