BREAKING NEWS: Kris Meeke won Rali Terras d'Aboboreira 2023

As you probably know Irishman Craig Breen, unfortunately, got killed in an accident on testing ahead of WRC Croatia Rally 2023 and that means that someone has o replace him in a Portuguese Rally Championship program which was on Breen's schedule for this season. Time passes by and only time can heal the wounds on soul of every rally driver because we are all as one.

Well, his compatriot and ex-works driver of many teams Kris Meeke decided ti stop with testing role for Škoda and replace Breen at Hyundai i20 Rally2 car.

The first mutual rally was Rali Terras d'Aboboreira 2023 where Meeke beat the opposition dominantly.

Marco Bulacia was the only one who was close to him at the finish line with gap of 15s behind Meeke in Škoda Fabia R5.

Third overall finisher was Spaniard Alejandro Cachon in Citroen C3 Rally2 car with gap of 20s behind Meeke. It is interesting that we will see Meeke back on the World Rally Championship stages in Portugal, again in Hyundai i20 Rally2 machinery.
