Daniel Elena to quit his co-driving career

The most successful co-driver of all time Daniel Elena decided to quit his career as a navigator in a rally car. I would say that Seb Loeb would never make a career as he had without Elena as a co-driver.

The way some co-drivers can make you quicker is a magnificent. This weekend I had really good co-driver who did his job without a single mistake. That makes rally driver quicker and more confident.

That also happened when Loeb and Elena met each other and the rest is the history. they won together nine World Rally Championship crowns and one Junior WRC crown. That makes Daniel Elena the most successful co-driver of all time and I don't see any other guy in the near future who can achieve this .

Yeah, Elena is a winner of 79 WRC rallies and that is really impressive number. Now when Seb Ogier is retiring, his co-driver Julien Ingrassia also retired and all other active co-drivers are with less then ten wins in the World Rally Championship and that's the only thing that counts.

I heard for him for the first time in 2001 when the pair was leading the Junior WRC and the same year they almost won one of the rallies in the premium WRC class but that win was taken from them because Citroen team changed their tires in the service where there was not allowed tire change.

But life gives something after 'rain' and life gave two these guys so much. Elena will be a spectator from now. Great stuff!
