Esapekka Lappi tested with Hyundai ahead of WRC Central European Rally 2023

Hi, friends!

Flying Finn Esapekka Lappi is the first one from Hyundai works squad who tested ahead of new tarmac event called Central European Rally which combines three countries - Czech Republic, Austria and Germany.

We know that Thierry Neuville and Esapekka Lappi are drivers who do a full season program for Hyundai but I don't know if their 3rd driver will be Dani Sordo or Teemu Suninen. I guess that it will be Spaniard Sordo because he is just super qui8on the tarmac stuff from his beginning.

I don't see Lappi winning at tarmac any time soon because Finns are naturally more gravel specialists but there ia something more here relevant- Hyundai just isn't on the same level as Toyota.

Yeah, Toyota has really a strong package for this season and Hyundai lacks some of it despite investing some big money into the proven personal but that could turn around after some time and I don't see it happening this season.

Anyway here we have a tarmac testing with Esapekka Lappi at some venue in Czech Republic.
