FIA revealed entry list for Rally of Nations Guanajuato 2022

Hi, friends!

Every time that Rally Mexico haven't been part of the World Rally Championship. they organized the event called Rally of Nations which was kinda popular between drivers and journalists and soon after that, rally would become part of WRC again.

It seems that the organizers have the same plan this year after their event was not introduced for season 2022 WRC calendar. If you ask me, Rally Argentina is better and those two rallies are very similar when you watch the surface and terrain.

Both of them are on gravel and they have very long special stages but Argentinian event has El Condor special stage which is more similar to the terrain of Mars then to the surface of Earth.

Drivers love both rallies and because of the coronavirus pandemic, both of them are absent from the calendar at the moment. But that could be changed for the following seasons.

I guess that Mexican organizers are pushing hard for their rally to be back when they paid some European rally stars the rent for the rally cars as well as some expanses for the trip etc. because they won't come to drive on their own.

So we are talking here about Adrien Fourmaux, current workd M-Sport Ford driver, Matthew Wilson, son of M-Sport Ford owner and their test driver, Mads Ostberg, Citroen's Rally2 official driver until the end of 2021, Harri Rovanpera, father of current WRC star Kalle etc.

List is very long and they are in in pairs for the countries they are coming from. List is also very interesting because you have Didier Auriol, ex World Rally Champion from the nineties as well.
