FIA revealed Rally Sanremo 2021 entry list

Organizers and FIA from Italy revealed entry list for this year's Rally Sanremo and I must say that this is proper entry list with lots of names. We are talking about around 150 entrants and I don't remember when I saw the entry list with so much entrants last time.

Well, Italian Rally Championship was always full of names and with really great drivers. I don't know exact reason why they don't drive WRC rallies more but they have guys like Andrea Crugnola who could fight with the big boys from WRC.

Only rich privateers appears from time to time on the entry lists for WRC events and rarely with the WRC1 cars.

Rally Sanremo has been run in WRC for the last time in 2003 and from 2004 it is Rally Sardinia which is an Italian event in the World Rally Championship.

As I wrote before Hyundai works team sent all their drivers chosen for WRC Rally Croatia on Sanremo event to practice on tarmac because Croatian event will be first real tarmac event, not counting Rally Monte Carlo as a tarmac rally because that is a mix of everything - snow, ice, tarmac and everything together at one special stage.

So it will be interesting how the WRC stars will cope with Italian locals who are super fast against anybody and without a fear of competition.
