FIA revealed WRC Rally Mexico 2023 entry list

Hi, friends!

After fully loaded entry list of 75 cars for Monte Carlo Rallye and also very well entry for WRC Sweden, now we have a situation for Mexican event of only 32 entrants which is slim if you ask me.

But I understand the teams. It's hard to organize and pay the transport from Europe to Mexico because almost all the teams are from Europe and only homologated cars can enter big FIA championship events.

There is also a fact that rallying isn't that big on the other part of the world. And in Mexico there are some of the best gravel roads in the world.

There are some drivers who will make their comeback after some time. Gus Greensmith will come back with the Toksport Škoda team after he spent all of his career with M-Sport Ford.

He will compete this year in WRC2 championship and he already tested the newly homologated Škoda Fabia RS Rally2 machinery. He will also do a Portuguese rally from their national rally championship as a test rally ahead of WRC Rally Portugal.

There is another big name who will complete again in WRC - Seb Ogier, after he won Monte Carlo Rallye, first round of the World Rally Championship. He will do limited number of rallies this year and Mexican event is on his list to do this year.

I can see also four Rally5 cars which are the same as mine which I will use so it will be a good mark to see the reliability of the smaller class machinery.

Despite smaller number of entries, we will have a good rally, the first one in three years after coronavirus pandemic. You can find complete entry list on the following link...
