Gryazin leads ERC Rally Hungary after day one

Hi, friends!

European Rally Championship is still not decided because the biggest and stronger driver for the title Andreas Mikkelsen had a puncture of the last special stage of today and that way the only two drivers able of winning the title - Mikolaj Marczyk and Efren Llarena finished in front of him today and that way they stayed in the fight for the title. I guess that if Mikkelsen finish the rally in front of two guys. the title will be his.

Surprisingly, there wasn't rain today because on previous two occasions it was everything full of water and mud. This time I saw some gravel on the tarmac roads of special stages, but nothing like it was on the previous two occasions.

But the fight was intense with Alexey Lukyanuk missing from the rally, probably because of the budget problems or maybe because he is out of the title fight, so there is no reason to go and fight at Hungarian event for nothing.

Erik Cais was surprise of the day because he led at one point and then had some troubles with the car and now he is only 10th overall.

Russian rocket Nikolay Gryazin is still leading and that guy has a strong speed but he is crashing too much so he just has to stay on the road and finish the rally as a winner, nothing else.

Hungarian Norbert Herczig is still 2nd overall while Norwegian Mads Ostberg holds 3rd place. Andras Hadik is in strong 4th place with another Ford Fiesta Rally2 (just like Cais) while Marczyk and Llarena are in 5th and 6th place, just in front of Mikkelsen.

Tomorrow will be strong fight, that's for sure and Andreas Mikkelsen will probably drive for the title one rally before the season finale.
