Hyundai tested on snow ahead of WRC Monte Carlo Rallye 2022

Hyundai Motorsport is the first team to reveal their car without masking stickers on it and in full white color it looks really cool. This will be changed ahead of the season with the sponsorship stickers but for now, in combination with snow, it looks really great.

From the description of the video it says that one of the drivers was Oliver Solberg and on the video I saw at least two big mistakes. If Hyundai decides to send him on Monte Carlo Rallye without an experience, it will be questionable decision, if you ask me.

They need someone like Dani Sordo in a 3rd car and Solberg jr should be in a 3rd car only on rallies where he excelled good this season. I am talking about Finnish rallies or Estonia. He is really fast and good there but there will probably be some mistakes out there because he is still in the process of development as a driver

On the other hand, they have Dani Sordo who always delivers and that's what they need as a team - guy who will always bring the points home. This season Ott Tanak had too much retirements and if you combine with not experienced Solberg jr, they will have some uncertainty, that's for sure.

Anyway, that's the reason they test at the moment extensively and they should do more of the same. One thing is for sure, they will send Oliver Solberg into the fire for Monte Carlo Rallye if he tests on those roads.
