Interesting thoughts from Oliver Solberg after WRC Rally Monza 2021

Hi, friends!

Oliver Solberg is still a very young driver but already very popular- He is also a son of ex-World Rally Champion from season 2003 Petter Solberg, so the doors were for Oliver very much opened from the start of his motorsport career.

He doesn't need his father's name anymore because he is now very fast and promising driver and I was very surprised with his pace at WRC Rally Monza but we should adjust to it very quickly.

I think that Elliott Edmondson, his new co-driver helped him much because that guy helped also Andreas Mikkelsen to snatch the both crowns this season - WRC2 and ERC. He just gives him a certainty when he is behind a steering wheel because a good co-driver can make you quicker so much. Maybe that is the reason drivers change their co-drivers so often these days.

Oliver Solberg has his vlog on the Youtube and I catch a look on it from time to time and today I found the latest edition of it where he talks about his experience from the Monza.

At some point Solberg jr says that he is still not that good on the tarmac but I would say that showed more then I expected, if you ask me.

He is so quick on the fast gravel rallies and there is a new generation of the young guns with Kalle Rovanpera and Oliver Solberg in front. Kalle already won two WRC rallies this season and Oliver has much work to do if he wants the same.

Watch Oliver's vlog because it is very interesting what youngster has to say. Enjoy...
