Kopecky tested with Škoda ahead of Ypres Rally 2020

There is no one at the moment who could say which drivers Škoda works team will send for Ypres Rally 2020 in Belgium.

There is so many drivers who tested their cars in the last few months that they could send at least four crews for this rally.

I know that Kris Meeke, Andreas Mikkelsen, Oliver Solberg and now their long term works driver Jan Kopecky tested the Fabia R5 in preparation for Ypres Rally.

Well it is good for them to test that much because special stages in Belgium are very difficult and only one mistake can finish with the shunt. And no team boss wants shunt for their drivers.

Their car is still somewhere at the top but Citroen and Hyundai are coming strong in the WRC2 or WRC3 category.

Just to remind you that WRC2 category are R5 cars for the works teams and WRC3 category is with R5 cars but for privateers.

Škoda works team withdrew at the end of the last season but they still send their top dogs at some rallies.

Which one will be chosen for the Ypres Rally, only time will tell.
