Lappi leads WRC Rally Sweden 2024 after first full day of competition

It seems that the new Hyundai i20 Rally1 car is much better developed with the new homologation jokers because performances are equal or sometimes even better then Toyota's.
Their part-timr driver for tgis season, Finn Esapekka Lappi is leading super fast snowy Rally Sweden, the only full snow event of the World Rally Championship.
Two WRC champions - Kalle Rovanpera and Ott Tanak, retired for a day because of the problems and they will continue tomorrow under super rally rule.
Guy who the most impressed me is Japanese Takamoto Katsuta who's charging Lappi from 2nd position, only a few seconds behind.
It is pretty much unbelievable that Rally2 Škoda Fabia RS of Oliver Solberg is in 3rd place overall, ahead of other Rally1 cars. Good job, Oliver!
