M-Sport Ford signs Loubet for 2023

The biggest surprise of a driver's from who no one expected anything big is Pierre-Louis Loubet. He had really tough season last year with 2C Competition Team and just to remind you that the car was Hyundai i20 WRC.

At the end of last season his luck was even tougher when car hit him close to his home so he had to miss the end of season.

I couldn't find anyone optimistic about Loubet at that time. But the youngster decided to show what he is made of and entered the seven rallies program with M-Sport Ford.

From the start he found a speed and started to post a good times on the special stages. He even led the WRC event at one point but he couldn't finish the rallies higher then 4th overall.

His usuall co-driver Vincent Landais left to read the pace-notes for Seb Ogier so Loubet had to find a new co-driver.

And he found him in Nicolas Gilsoul, former co-driver of Thierry Neuville. Gilsoul has lot of experience with also thirteen WRC wins under his belt, all thirteen from the time with Neuville.

Two of them will now have a new chance to show how good they are in a full season with M-Sport Ford. Loubet hoped for a ten event program but instead of this, he got an opportunity to try to be a full works driver.
