Max McRae to driveJunior ERC program in 2023

Hi, friends!

Scottish family McRae is probably the most known rally family in the history of the sport because they produced three works drivers and one of them was also World Rally champion.

Yeah we are talking about 1995 World Rally champion Colin McRae, his brother Alister and their dad Jimmy who won British Rally Championship numerous times.

Colin used to drive for Subaru, Ford Citroen and Škoda (all four factory teams), Alister drove for Hyundai and Mitsubishi in the top tier while there was also a drive with Volkswagen in F2 champion ship and Proton in the Super2000 championship.

There is a new generation of driver coming and we are talking about Alister's son Max who decided to try Junior European Rally Championship this year which has an incredible prize of giving the Junior World Rally Championship drive to the winner in the following season.

I guess they are looking clever on all the things because the costs are very high so they want to finance their program through the prizes which is kinda cool.

I don't know much about Max's results except that he drove Australian Rally Championship where he also lives but Junior ERC program is on the much higher level.

With the best possible mentors, there are high hopes for this young driver...
