Middle East to host round of World Rally Championship in 2025
Hi, friends!
After months of speculation, it seems that World Rally Championship has two new rounds for the following season, or a year after.
I already wrote about potential return of Rally Ireland to the series but Irish event is a tarmac event.
On the other hand there was one rally in the Middle East called Rally Jordan, and that was thirteen years ago. It was a gravel event and it was very interesting to follow but without too much spectators because of nature of terrain.
Now I heard about new possibility of some new event in the series from Middle East and if it will be as good as Rally Jordan, I don't have nothing against...

That would be awesome!!! Thinking of contacting the power that be at WRC and putting an idea out there for them to consider. Over on my side of the world, we have really POOR coverage of Dakar.... and since it runs, just before the WRC season starts, I wonder if they would consider showing it... kind of a "warm up" to the WRC season.... what do you think???
